Maine Maple Weekend- March 21-22, 2015
We started hosting Maine Maple Sunday in the late 1980ʼs with a few people at the sugarhouse. Each year we added a few more exciting activities and more people would come. Maple Sunday has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade to the point where it is literally the largest event held in our town for the year. Ironically, Newfield, Maine has a population of about 1400, yet Maine Maple Weekend saw about 5,200 people on this weekend in 2014. This is nearly four times the population of our small town.
Please join us on Maine Maple Weekend this coming March 21 and 22, 2015, for two days of fun filled events. On Saturday we will be open from 9AM- 3PM and on Maple Sunday from 8AM- 4PM. We offer exciting activities such as scavenger hunts, calf naming contests, pig weight contests, sap lugging contests, and door prizes. Our Maple Store is fully stocked for the event with many special prices. We will also have free samples of Maple Syrup on pancakes and ice cream, fudge sampling, and maple whoopie pie tasting events. Our maple store is also open throughout the year. We welcome you to visit at your convenience. We accommodate: bus tours, restrooms available, handicapped accessible, retail sales offered, wholesale sales offered
Helpful hints for Maine Maple Weekend
* Wear warm clothes and footgear as the weather can be cold and the ground muddy.
* You wonʼt need cash, as VISA and Mastercard are accepted and all activities are free
* You will have to stand in line for some events so please be patient.
* We discourage pets as they are not well adapted to large crowds.
* Bring kids, there are so many things for them to see and do.
* Plan on walking a lot, sometimes you will have to park some distance away
* Often times by coming early or late you can avoid the largest crowds. We have other open house days we are also open with much smaller crowds for those that want to avoid crowds altogether.

Snowflake Trail and December Open house
Each Fall, we hold two more open house events. One is a few weeks before Thanksgiving, called the Snowflake Trail. A group of local small businesses join in with us and have an open house weekend. The second open house is held in the beginning of December. The obvious intent of these days is to give people a chance to purchase Maple Syrup and Maple Products for Thanksgiving and Christmas. While these two events are somewhat smaller than Maine Maple Sunday and their focus is very different, they still attract a large number of people with a passion for our great products. Pure Maine Maple products are fast become the Christmas present of choice for the most discriminate givers.
The Snowflake Trail will be held on November 6-8, 2015. We are looking forward to the thousands of people that will attend the event, this year and know that once again, the Holidays will be sweeter because of it. Have you been on the Snowflake Trail before? If you are a seasoned veteran, or this is your first year, I would personally encourage you to visit us on one of these three days, from 10AM-5PM. We will have Snowflake Trail maps and information about the 12 local businesses that are participating this year. As always, we will have lots of yummy samples to enjoy too!
